TYLOSIN 100% W.S.P
TYLOSIN 100% W.S.P is a macrolide antibiotic, effective against a wide range of bacteria, with a special focus on Gram-positive bacteria. It is similar to other macrolide antibiotics, in that it is easily absorbed from the digestive system and reaches its peak concentration in the blood within one to two hours in most cases.
It is also used to treat and prevent various bacterial infections of calves and poultry. It is effective against many microorganisms.

Contraindications for use:
Tylosin should not be used on animals that are allergic to it or to antibiotics

How to use or dosing:
Tylosin is given orally in drinking water or milk replacer.
The recommended dose of Tylosin varies depending on the type and weight of the animal.
Treated water or milk should be used immediately after preparation and renewed every 24 hours during the treatment period.
To determine the correct dose and avoid insufficient doses, the weight of the animal must be accurately determined.
Dosage details according to the type of animal:
Poultry and turkeys:
20 mg tylosin (in the form of tartrate) per kilogram of body weight.
7 g Tylosin 100% water per 100 kg body weight.
100 gm Tylosin 100% WSP per 800 liters of drinking water.
Calves (before glorification only):
1-2 mg tylosin (in the form of tartrate) per kilogram of body weight.
8 g Tylosin 100% water per 100 kg body weight.
It is given in milk replacer for 7-14 days.
